Statue of 1st Karmapa – Dusum Khyenpa is made in Nepal by master statue artists. The weight of this statue is 2.5kg and the dimension is 29 x 19 x 14cm.
The material used to make this statue is copper. Dusum Khyenpa was the head of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Dusum Khyenpa means “knower of the three times” (past, present, and future). It was given to him to refer to knowledge of the three forms of time he gained at enlightenment including the “timeless time” of enlightened awareness.
